How the calendar works
The calendar combines three sources. Recurring events like the G7 Summit, Munich Security Conference, COP, NATO Summit, BRICS, and APEC are generated automatically year over year using their typical timing. Manual entries override these once official dates and venues are announced. Auto-detected events appear when our scraper identifies a new summit or ministerial meeting in a press release.
What “approx.” means
Some upcoming events are tagged approx. — this means we are using the typical historical pattern for that event because the host has not yet published the official dates. As soon as press releases confirm the schedule, we replace the estimate with the verified date. Always cross-check with the organiser’s official site for travel or planning purposes.
About the publications feed
The Publications tab is rebuilt every three hours from approximately 80 government, international-organisation, and think-tank sources. We surface only items matching keywords for strategy papers, doctrines, white papers, communiques, declarations, and major reports — routine press releases are filtered out. Coverage spans Europe, North America, Russia, China, India, Japan, the Indo-Pacific, Africa, and Latin America.
